On June 8, 2008 my little neice Gracie Jane was blessed by her father and my brother, Seth Gordon Staples. The weather up north was absolutely beautiful. Seth gave a truly inspired blessing for his little girl. At first we were nervous, because little Gracie was not quite cooperating! But once she heard her father's voice, a calm came over her and she was quiet throughout the entire blessing. The spirit was definitely felt on this day. The girls were also excited to see their first "true" cousin be blessed. They had fun playing with Gracoe and giving her gifts. Later that evening, we headed out to see some friends for popcorn and a movie under the stars! Our friends had a movie projector and projected the movie right onto the side of their house! The girls had so much fun and did not want to leave. But it was getting cold, and the mosquitoes were out!
